I didn't want to say it but that how it made it look it's always the good guys it happens to he was just telling me the other week he was gonna go into training people when he finished boxing I hope he can still do that sure he had young kids too
Very sad news, I always liked Darren as a fighter. Big shame his chance of a British middleweight title was woefully taken away from him due to the insane cut rules in the UK. He was well on his way to beating Elcock, and should have been granted an immediate rematch with Elcock. All the best in the future to him, hope he can make a full recovery and still be involved in the boxing world.
i hope he can aswel and im sure he didnt want ur name mentioned in it. not very fair to pin it on u like that
I doubt anyone will read anything into mate. Wrong place, wrong time isnt it? In hindsight it would probably have been better to not mention you or Clev but I'm sure the author wasnt intending anything by it. And no one reading it will make anything of it. Best regards to McD.
Absoultely terrible news. Would like to wish Darren a full and speedy recovery. Thought's and prayers are with Darren and his family X
This is really sad news. McD came to fight and he had some domestic battles in him. I don't think Gavin or Cleverly had anything to do with it and if they did, this is the risk these guys take to have a legacy and riches. McD should get into training boxers. He's achieved more than anyone on here has and more than your average man so he has nothing to be sad about. My mates arm is injured and he'll never get the opportunity to fufil his dream of turning pro. McD should find some comfort in having been able to do what he has. Give him our best.
