it dawned on me today that Darren O'Neill is an example of an irish fighter who would have done a lot in the pros but never turned over. Today he fought Evgeny Tishchenko(Russia world silver medallist and beast) at 91kg, O'Neill can still make 75kg easily if he was still putting his heart into boxing and imo he should have got the win and was very unlucky to lose

the guy has a lot of assets that would make him a top class pro, his got very good power, top class skills, incredible dedication and fitness and a brain

he holds wins over many top names in the am's

    Sergey Derevyanchenko
    Jason Quigley x2
    Callum Smith
    Bogdan Juritoni x2
    Conrad Cummings
    Anthony Ogogo x2
    Adem Kilici
