I think he should fight The Rock instead.

The pre fight promotion would be unreal.

    The Rock: What's your name?
Darren Sutherland: Bejaysus, my name is Darr....
The Rock: It doesn't matter what your name is!!

It would be a good fight once Darren has had an 8 rounder or two(which he should hopefully have done by the end of this year), and that would make him eligible for the Irish title aswell.

Imo it would be a perfect fight for his first 10 rounder, but that's quite a way off at the moment, at least with the way Maloney's promoting him.

Am I right has he got 2 fights in the space of a month? 1 up in Sunderland and another elsewere. I was at his fight in DCU on his debut good night I think him and Rock would fill that up or at a push the National Boxing Arena. He has to fight over here some time this year.

It could also lead to a fight with Andy Lee if he stays unbeaten Lee and Sutherland would fill the o2 out.

Rock is a gas man...He figths like once a year with no fuss. Seems like he doesnt have to put in much effort, steps in the ring, knocks the **** outta some journeyman and then goes upstairs to commentate on the rest of the card.

Its like a small time hobby for him.

    Wat a legend!!

thats at least a year down the line fellas

darrens only had 3 fights, putting him in against the pink panther could be detrimental to his career at this stage

yea but rock is a huge jump and in a ten rounder i could see darren taking some serious shots, as i said at least a year away from that level if not more

He has 2 fights in 10 days 1 fight next Tuesday and then Saturday night. If he keeps it up like that he could be fighting Rock sooner than later. Best out of the Olympians that went pro. Warrens only good 1 is Frankie Gavin.
