Darrens Father Tony Sutherland interviewed on The Late Show

I tend to agree.

It's hardly a normal situation is it, so reading logically too much into anyones behaviour, Darren, Frank or Sutherland Snr etc or speculating.

Maloney was actually taken from the scene to the hospital so wouldn't have had chance to inform anyone. The police should have dealt with this better

 

i read on another message board about sutherland supposed to be living in a flat with no running water and maloney seems to be taking the brunt of a lot of things i cant see frank maloney looking after his top prospect in any other way bar decent

 

To be fair to onourway, he wasn't being disrespectful, just being honest.

In the boxing news this week, it said he broke down to his trainer saying he was very lonley in london and missed home and wanted to quit, he was going to get him to see a doctor but sadly it was to late, of course this is something others have said, so who knows what his reasons were, still very sad.

 

To be fair fella Darren had problems with his eye for along time before he went pro. He stopped for 2 or 3 years when he was at the ingles gym so he had every right to be concerned about a cut on his eye.

Can't believe it took so long for his family to find out about it. If anyone watched it and seen his dad's reaction when Maloney's name was mentioned i thought he was going to go off on one. I think there is something more to the story here. Either way my thoughts are with his family shocking thing to happen.

I strongly doubt that. He was talented, he could it. Sure he had issues but he had the goods.

What's the story about being worried about a cut? Is this a story I'm missing?

 

not really its about the cut he suffered on his cheak in his last fight, it took a while to clear up and got infected he was worried about it thats it really

tbh lads there is a lot more to this story than what we know, you could see his dads discontent towards maloney, something is up, why point fingers when it wont help the situation. They know a lotmore than what they said on the show but couldnt due to fear of being sued by frank maloney

and as for maloney not even ringing them after finding darren is a damn right disgrace, i dont care about ah poor frank he found him and might have lost his way or the heart problems, he only knew darren what roughly 12 months if even, if i knew someone for 10 years and i found them dead the first thing that would come into my head would be to pick up the phone and tell his family, maloney needs to clear this part of the story up because its a disgrace and imo he will not be able to come up with any bull**** to clear this up, their is no answer for this behaviour
