Just as a side note I go to the same amateur gym in birmingham that Macklin did it's run by an irishman and the gym's colours are white and green the clubs badge has a big shamrock on it so it's a bit understandable why macklin considers himself irish not english when his parents are irish he spent a lot of his young life in ireland and in a very irish related environment at the gym.

Where did I say ten fighters at middleweight? I said ten fighters. The only one that might surpass his jab at 160 is Maravilla, and even then it's arguable.

Jesus Christ, you people really look into this too much don't you. I think you'll find, like I've said numerous times, that certain people saying his jab is one of the top 5 in the world is well off the mark. Is there anything particularly ludicrous about that? Like I said, I posted a list a couple of weeks ago, and the only complaints I got were people saying I had a few omissions.

People seem to think I'm insinuating that Sturm isn't very good, which I'm not doing. He is good, very good, but not the kind of talent people think he is, just because he's going to fight Macklin.

People overrating Sturm. He isn't as good as he looks against the Ronald Hearns of this world lads. Nobody remembers him getting outhustled by Gevor I see. He's wonderful now. I don't know if Macklin is the one to expose him, but I wouldn't be surprised. He has a very good chance indeed.
