Macklin needs nothing short of a miracle

 

It's very difficult to foresee a Macklin win. He needs to land that 1 in a 1000 perfect punch to knock him out. There's not a hope of him actually outboxing Sturm.

I can't wait for the fight. Be amazing if he came away with that belt. I'd be delighted for him if he proved all the doubters wrong and beat the #2 middleweight of the world.

 

I will be happy if it is more competitive title challenge than Rhodes - Alvarez. I cant see anything other than a convincing Sturm win - maybe a late stoppage.

Hey Slap, what's your prediction for this fight? Also what was your prediction on the Khan-Mccloskey fight? I remember you saying on your twitter that Mccloskey was going to knock Khan out

 

Sturm's jab is overrated. It's more about Macklin not really being at that level more than Sturm having a jab that makes him impenetrable. I mean, he was blessed against Gevor for christ sake. His jab looks better than it is because it's one of the few quality things he has in his arsenal.
