Oh and this wasn't even the same card as Yordan vs. Kaewmanee, and happened in a totally different venue? Oh well, I'll still give it a watch.

 

Round 5 to Lunjun, ate plentiful counters on the way in but landed the most solid and visibly damaging stuff.

 

Lunjun edged the sixth as well, just hits out relentlessly once he makes contact. Phayom the more skillful boxer with the straighter and more compact punches yet letting himself get hung up on the ropes taking big hooks on the chest and throat far too frequently.

 

Phayom reacting to some of these flush hooks in a concerning manner, but keeps sticking to his bait-and-pull-counter game plan. Having mixed success.

 

Nice two-way exchange to end the seventh. Phayom may have nicked it despite being shaken a few times.

 

Phayom coming alive in round eight with a series of quick looping rights embedded just under the jaw.

 

Phayom really has that slingshot pull-counter right dialed in now, making Lunjun's neck stiffen up like a rock 'em sock 'em robot hit on the sweet-spot...

 

Big uppercutting surge by Lunjun but Phayom hangs on, and had just enough of this one banked. Two rounds apiece by my reckoning, in this second half.

Phayom sank to his knees in prayer facing his corner before the bell to start round 10...

Guess he really wants that vacant WBO Youth Oriental super featherweight title.

 

Phayom able to hit (lightly) and not get hit (mostly) in most of the final three minutes, salvaging a draw on my card (of the partially available footage).

Could see Lunjun being awarded it by some fans/judges on (ineffective) aggression, though.
