A little tidbit video on a fairly decent contender back in the 00's.

Chin was total Glass. Remember him being savagely KOed by Joe Mesi.

He would have fared well in the new days with this Bridger weight weight class LOL

Good am. Should've fought at cruiserweight.

Yes he did. At least in that fight he went out of his shield. Worse thing I remember about TOS was his total lack of effort in his title shot vs Chris Byrd. Possibly the shameful title fight. Little to no effort displayed in that fight.

Great to see he's doing well.

He probably remained an amateur too long, but it sounds like it provided him a safety blanket of sorts (given his personal life). Davarryl legitimately floored Wlad in their fight. Wlad escaped that night.

It was turning into the first Brewster fight all over again. Wlad had that opened-mouth, blank-stare thing going when he went back to the corner after the fifth round.

If Wlad had lost both the Brewster and Williamson fights back to back, no telling how his career shapes up.

Also notable is that he didn’t need boxing at all. He’s a smart guy with a Master’s degree.

I never forget his quote: "Boxing is like a bad girlfriend. She cheats on you but you keep coming back to her."

His wife was smoking as well and really supportive.

That fight is one reason why I defend the current HW division. It's much, much more interesting than 2005-15. Back then you had a bunch of boring Wlad fights, Byrd, Ruiz, faded Rahman, decrepit Toney, et al. Lots of guys who were not good to watch.

Glassy eyed? Where was that at? The knockdown was a flash variety; all I saw was Klit jabbing the crap out of TOS while TOS was rabbit punching the back of Klits head multiple times.

Fight shouldn't have been stopped, however. The cut wasn't THAT bad.
