Williamson didn't want to engage he ran the whole time. Even his corner was telling him to run in between rounds they were trying to tire Wlad out. His trainer flat out said throw a punch then get away from him. :rofl
Lamon Brewster. Samuel Peter (who knocked his ass down three times first time they fought.) Wlad don't mind rematches with dangerous opponents.
Apparently Husslerman doesn't even rate Wladimir in his top 30 all time heavyweights yet he's too shy to post those 30 heavyweights. :rofl
Vlad would have knocked him out, no doubt about it, is was pretty much a mismatch...........................The fight was not even close............
I was ther live, TOS was clearly robbed of a KO victory! Everybody in the audience was thinking Wlad didn't wanna come out for the 6 and TOS won! ROBBERY!
It was an anti climactic win and not the sort of dominant winning-every-round performance you are accustomed to seeing from the champ, but still a win. Wlad wasn't 'giving' Byrd a rematch, he beat Sam Peter to become mandatory challenger for Byrd's IBF title, then beat Byrd to become champion. Maybe because Wlad has held that belt for so long you are forgetting the facts :deal
This fight shows just how big of a joke Wlad is. Almost knocked out by a grazing punch by a 3rd class fighter. That is why he only picks fights against people who don't throw punches back
