Dave Allen British HW title fight blocked by BBBOC

Board have made a eliminator for British and English title fight for Allen v ***ton. It's at purse bids.

 

Why did joshua give it up in the first place? Can you not hold Lonsdale belt and world title? He could of fought chisora then haye/fury after martin and won it outright.

 

I'm not sure where the hype for Dave Allen has come from. He's done nothing to suggest he'll be able to hang with the top guys at domestic level. That's not to say he doesn't deserve a shot, far worse looking fighters than him have been given one.

 

Think it's come from an ifl interview where he called out price

 

Its a good thing he gave it up, Fury kept hold of it for a long time when he had no intention of defending it and it limited other peoples opportunities

 

If they find 2 suitable fighters they wud approve fight regardless of the eliminator

 

Wen u win a title deemed higher than the one u hold u have to vacate.

 

Not sure why Allen is crying about things as he hasn't done a thing to deserve a place in front of ***ton and my money is on ***ton beating Allen 100% if they ever got it on. Allen seems to think he deserves it more cos he's got a bigger mouth than ***ton but he needs to think about his jaw not his mouth if he wants to progress but I see him at English title level and that's it. Don't right ***ton off against Whyte either ***ton had some bad luck on his journey but now slowly back to his best so will be very interesting.

Dave Allen has fought nobody, beat nobody and does not deserve the chance.

 

Not entirely sure why this is an Eliminator unless the winner gets Cornish if he wins his Commonwealth Title fight. Underwhelming fight.

 

I think it's more so that Allen as only beaten journeymen and the fact ***ton has been very inactive by matching them in a eliminator the winner has decent win on paper b4 a possible title shot.
