    I agree, especially after he's in discussions to face Joseph Parker. It's a joke.

    Face TKV for the British Title and stay at that level.

    To be fair to him I don't think he's ever claimed to be better than what he is, even after the Fisher fight he just said I'm a problem at this level. He's always come across humble when people try talk hos level up.

    But if he can make more money and cash out in 1 fight than you would would in 3/4 then he'd head not to.

    Listened to a couple of Allen interviews, his speech is really bad now. It’s hard to begrudge him a final run at some decent purse money which has come from nowhere tbh but his slurring is among the worst I’ve heard from an active fighter. With his decent chin, heart and general resilience, it would be sad to see him get a sustained beating.

    If he does get a crazy shot against an AJ or Parker he really should get in there, go balls to the wall in the first round and just take a dive as soon as possible. Take the money and run. The guy is so punch drunk it’s uncomfortable to listen to.

    Disagree about the speech, he sounds far more together than a couple of years ago, for months after the Price fight he was almost incoherent. Agree re Joshua, I'd stay well away from parker though, completly the wrong opponent.

    I would also say Allen has a slow slurred speech. It was really bad a couple of years back but I think he had cut his tongue or something.

    Just because “he’s always been like that” doesn’t make it right. The public has only ever seen him since he’s been on tv and before that and until now he’s done nothing aside from eat huge punches from huge heavyweights. It’s bound to have an effect.

    That aside I really like him and I hope he doesn’t go in and take a huge beating from one of the top guys. He spent years moaning about Hearn shafting him and now he’s going to let him do it again.
