If we were going to give Lucas the benefit of the doubt we could argue that he was just using a code word like the reference to the “six” punch. But I think the biggest giveaway is the trainer’s reaction. Head immediately sinks down as if he’s gutted or ashamed of what’s about to happen and then immediately gets back into “character” and gives instructions.
It's difficult to excuse this one. "Next round towel yeah? Next round towel" If they're using code words then it's the worst code imaginable, unless it's a black comedy on Netflix about impaired boxers trying to fix a fight.
It does seem very very damning and Lucas has admitted that he’s not made no where near anuff money out of boxing and that he’s a name for sale. only other thing I can think of is Lucas meant end Next round put a cold towel over my head as we see happens in the corners a lot. But even typing that it sounds like a massive reach and stupid lol.
I doubt anything will come of this but it's certainly not 2+2=100 stuff. What I find weird from Saturday was the roll from Darch, it seemed exaggerated like he needed to look convincingly too hurt to carry on.
The fact that he handpicked him as the opponent, made a lot of noise about how they are mates and had breakfast together before the fight is all suspicious as hell but tbh this probably happens a lot in boxing.
He didn't even look that hurt, I'm pretty certain I remember him taking far more punishment from the likes of big hitters Dubois and Joshua and carrying on
You bring your own share of negatively at times so your as guilty as the rest of us Anyway lets hope Allen goes away now Please...pretty please
IF a fight is fixed, you don’t need, in fact would be stupid to have both fighters in on it. If the fight was thrown it was by Darch, who went down. the Browne stuff is nonsense
Judging by the responses to this post I thought you might have had a point. But after watching the video I presume you wear a tin hat when you sleep. Him and his trainer were using codes (as referenced by Paul Smith) several times in the corner. Plus they’re Aussies, I presume they have much different slang to us. And if you watch the KD, it’s clearly a natural response to being in pain Like Lucas Browne is going to fix the fight, and then remind his trainer about fixing the fight on camera during the fight. It’s like people who believe the earth is flat... if you want a reason to believe the earth is flat you will find one, no matter how ridiculous it is. What’s more frightening is people like you vote...
I contacted Twerry Odonner, Head of Boxthing Corruption on Twitter to make him aware and he replied, sorry you should have got your money on 30 mins ago.
Pre fight night there is an IFL interview with Eddie in the ****ing car where he said Dave was gunna prance around for a couple of rounds before bombing him out. WIzzard. **** **** fight but Dave's happy and lol he got a louder cheer than the main event. So what do.
You don’t know anything for a fact. You are making an educated assumption based on a short video clip just like I am. As someone else mentioned, “towel” is hardly a wise choice of words given what could actually happen in the next round. Also not everything was in code. The trainer was referring to a wide variety of punches and genuine boxing terms in the corner. Anyway what’s actually frightening is that every single post you have made on this forum seems to be a “going against the grain” defence of Hearn or an attack on a poster. None of that bothers me tbh, you are probably a mouse in real life.
