Yes, it would be Joyce's pro debut. He's already 31 so they're going to go very fast.

None of the above. Price vs. Allen would be great though. Feed Price a few Hungarians and set this one up for December.

Joyce fighting Allen in his very first fight would be pretty impressive.

At his age though, he may as well get after it.

I'd like see Dubois down the line. For Allen's sake and development I wouldn't mind him taking a club level fighter or two first though

Well let's see if Joyce and co actually go with a risk like Allen for Joyce's debut. It's one thing to consider it and talk about it, it's another thing to actually do it.

But yes, if Joyce actually fights someone like Allen for his debut (and wins), I'll be highly impressed. On the other hand, that's why I don't see him doing it.

Dave Allen himself said that Joyce has made him an offer for a 10 rounder.

... however it seems that Allen is going to decline the offer from Joyce

Allen said hes done with being served as fodder for contenders and prospects, more focused on the established domestic level fighters now. Sexton, Cornish and Price would all be good fights for him.

This. He's still young, so he should take his time and develop properly.

That and knowing you're level. If he's accepted and content with being a domestic level fighter there's no shame in that, good money too if you play your cards right.

Who honestly thinks a longer fight suits Allen over Dubois?

Dubois is known to be exceptionally fit, Allen would suffer severe brain damage taking blows from Dubois for multiple rounds.

Allen is bipolar, 1 day he says he has no talent, the next day he's plotting his path to a world title.

Allen does have no talent apart from a great chin. Gary Cornish boxes his ears off, easy work for the highlander.

Dave Allen is a club fighter himself.Guy got famous because of close relations with Eddie Hearn.Hearn used him as a cheap opponent for his fighters because he doesn't ask for big money and he isn't signed to him.

This guy lost to Lenroy Thompson and he will loose again in the future,he has no future in the heavyweight division.
