Dave Allen retires

Ive never seenthis fight until now but it looks horrendous from the first bell.

 

It's not good for the board when posters start using insults towards each other...however, I'm keeping dog nonce as an insult. Absolute quality.

How old does the dog have to be to qualify somebody as a dog nonce?

 

Well, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the rule of thumb that 1 human year = 7 year dog years? So going by that I'd say 2 years.... lol

 

2 years and 8 months just to be on the safe side. Don't want to be an Adam Johnson.

 

I first heard dog nonce when someone called Chris Reeve of Talk Norwich City that during a game for his consistently irritating behaviour. I love that term, it's beautiful.

 

It starts with Allen walking around the ring as if he has a ring IQ similar to that of Mayweather Jnr. As it wears on Allen decides to throw some shots that appear a little meaningful and eventually Darch goes down before eventually pretty much forcing himself to roll over, acting like he's hurt and then being unable to continue, Arturo Gatti he certainly wasn't. All of a sudden a lot of bets came in. Days later these two chancers were investigated, somehow got away with it and then retired. Shambles.

I wonder if they were both told to retire. Nobody needed that kind of publicity ob their product especially from two bottom feeders who had no right even being on that platform.

 

I think Darch knew it was his last fight, hadn't made much money from the sport and probably saw it as a good opportunity to get a payday. Apparently Allen and Darch were seen having breakfast together before the fight, who knows what was discussed then. If there were any doubts the third round says it all. Deliberately loses the second, corner makes sure they're heard telling Allen to go at Darch. Darch does a fake stagger back to make it seem like Allen has really hurt him, he goes down soon after, up after 8 easily enough, down again, tries for the roll, something you clearly wouldnt do if you have been floored by an 18 stone boxer. Sits there, thinks about it and calls it a night. Just when you think it can't possibly get any worse Allen pipes up with a ridiculous fake humble speech. I know this sounds bad but when I saw Usyk scramble his brains I was glad that finally someone has wobbled this tub of excrement and that it was finally the end. I can't stand fake humble bull, it drives me up the wall and it's everywhere now.

 

Don’t give him the attention he craves.

I'll keep repeating it, Dave Allen should give Snoop a call, get on Triller, he would fit in perfectly there.

Thy would love him, he doesn't care, he doesn't train, he is somewhat funny and can fight Steve Cunningham or Frank Mir and make a fair old wad.

With his fanbase in the U.K. and digital hits on IFL I reckon Triller will give him a chance.


He should keep away from legit heavyweights or he will get hurt but fighting 78 year old Frank Mir is about his level and he'll get paid large for it.

He wants to move his backside before Triller goes belly up though.



You never know, him and Oscar could hit it off.

 

Those two bums can't fight, and apparently don't even know how to fake a fight.
It's sick that they would do that in front of a crowd and TV cameras.

 

Dodgy looking. And the commentator seemed like he was trying to stitch them up with the rambling about having breakfast and coffee together.

 

Allen can still be competitive domestically. It's just whether he's up for it. That fight you posted though was a shambles.

I always thought he was too small to be a HW. Should cut and drop down a division.
