The White Rhino has just posted on his Instagram that he's agreed terms to fight Tony Yoka in Paris on June 23rd.

Fair play to him, again, if this is true... But I thought his plan was to rebuild and look to pick up the British or Commonwealth Title (granted, he had a crack at the Commonwealth).

I thought Yoka was under a ban for missing tests?

He’s going to end up a cabbage. He’s just a punch bag.

Question, would he beat Tom Little?

Self belief is massive in boxing, so I'm not sure he would. Seems quite content just being popular and respected for having a bit of bottle rather than any great ambitions.

Tony Yoka absolutely obliterates Dave Allen.

Yoka is an absolute beast and smashes Allen every which way. If this lasts more than 4, even with Allen’s “durability” I will be shocked.

This move is a clear indication that Hearn is now selling Allen out, as a name to pad your record with.

Hearn doesn’t promote Allen. Hearn has nothing to do with this, it’s Allen and his management who have agreed to this fight. Hearn just uses him as a ticket seller to beef up his cards. I agree Yoka plays with him. Yoka is probably carrying glass from what I’ve seen but Allen doesn’t have the power, nor the quality, to KO him.

    It was a suspended ban.

I'm not too impressed with Yoka and don't think he'll achieve much.

That said, he should batter Allen with relative ease.

Another beat down for Allen - I wonder if he’s getting more than Warren offered for Dubois?

    lmao
Allen went 7 rounds with Luis Ortiz and 10 rounds with Dillian Whyte and Tony Yoka who couldn't stop Jonathan Rice ffs will stop Allen within four rounds?

Yoka is overrated and he didn't win a gold medal, it was silver. Joyce was robbed. He isn't a beast or something. Look at Joyce, he is a beast. Yoka is a solid prospect.

You don’t think all those beatings Allen has been taking in sparring and fights have chipped away at that chin of his?

That’s the reason I give a Yoka a good chance of ending this very early. Allen has too many miles on the clock now. He has never thrown enough back to keep the upper echelon guys off him.

This fight makes me a little sad. I've got a soft spot for Allen and hope somehow he beats him, but this doesn't seem like the cleverest move.

I thought he was going to fight reguarly, and gradually step up a bit when he was actually properly fit. Instead he's taking this fight at 3 weeks notice, when according to his twitter he's about 19st at the moment. I don't know whose advising him this is a great idea.

If he were to fight monthly and get back down to a sharper, fitter 17st he would be in position when Fury or Joyce vacate. Where does another L put him?
