    Just glimpsing at the records of his opponents, their records are abysmal.
    His last eight opponents alone have a combined record of: 28 wins/132 losses :confused:

    Allen sparring with Uysk will be as sharp as ever, i expect him to ko lovejoy in 3-4 rounds.

    If Don King pulls the plug on this then it just further confirms what we all know about him.

    The reality of it is Lovejoy has ****ed up but given how far down the line it now is, all parties can still make money and in fact now Trevor Bryan (who King hasn't secured a fight for in 2 years) would now secure a fight on the back of all this.... most likely with Allen who is a far bigger name/draw than Lovejoy.

    The fact that someone like Dave Allen actually appears on pay-per-view television shows as a main support tell us how far boxing has fallen in recent years.

    Years ago he'd barely be considered good enough to box as a part-time professional. In fact, he'd be the local bloke who'd get a few coins tossed at him for lasting 3 rounds against the fairground boxer.

    Perhaps Don sees Lovejoys body as being worth than £50k plus expenses and a reach around.

    He didnt feed 19 rolls overs to Lovejoy for him to be allowed to be another body on Dave Allen's record surely?

    From the looks of the interview yesterday, unless something changes then Lovejoy wont be fighting.

    By the way, any Drs on this forum?

    I smashed my knee today, anyway it's getting stiffer by the hour (yeah yeah, leave it), smashed it right on the front, bang on the kneecap, looks a little swollen.

    Should I worry? Is it most likely just an impact injury? And will it be OK in a couple of days?

    Thank you for the free medical advice.

    Put an ice pack on it, if you have one. And do it a few times per day for as long as it stays very cold. It'll just be inflamed. Not a doctor, just speaking from experience. If you don't have an ice pack, buy one (or two) for future needs.
