His last 5 opponents have a combined record of 23-89-10.

But having said all that Allen's career best win is over a brain damaged Lucas Browne or Nick Webb.

So this is a 50/50 fight.

Fingers crossed we get to hear Big Dave talk about his childhood and how his dad pushed him to hard AGAIN, an he is just a simple everyday guy

This gives David Rodriguez vibes (not sure how many people remember him). He knocked out a string of cans until the Ding a Ling man, rang his bell. He fell into oblivion shortly after. Think Rodriguez still holds the record for HW first round knockouts though (someone verify that for me LOL)

Just looked it up and Shannon Briggs actually has as many 1st round KOs as David Rodriguez has career wins.

Lovejoy said on social media he was coming in at about 330lbs.

His listed weights on boxrec make no sense. Generally he’s been close to 300lb but then supposedly he was 236 for his last fight? Is that real?

Also apparently in the one week from 11 August to 2018 to 18 August 2018 he lost 38lbs??? Honestly, this guy’s record seems made up.

I thought Lovejoy was scheduled to fight Trevor Bryan? What happened to that fight?

and why is his nickname 'Pretty Boy' ? have you seen him? I'm guessing it's like when people who are 7ft tall are nicknamed 'Tiny'

Allen is the red hot favourite with the bookies.. Lovejoy doesn’t even have one fight up on YouTube?! Just a couple of clips on the heavy bag and by the look of him he will gas in a couple of rounds... Allen TKO 3

Chauncy Welliver vibes from Lovejoy's records but Dave Allen is his match delusion wise.

"These fighters at the top, their conditioning is elite. The difference between the elite heavyweights and me, is conditioning.

I don't really have much less skill than them. Just the fact that I can do it for 30 seconds, they can do it for 36 minutes. That is the difference, and again, I've seen that and learned from that." - Dave Allen.

Really Dave? You'd think he was Andy Ruiz the way he's carrying on.
