Allen vs Gashi. For arguments sake we'll take the most impressive versions of both. So the Allen that got Browne out of the ring in 3, and the Gashi that turned up to fight against Takam. Who takes it over 12?
The badass version of Gashi that turned up against Schwarz causes Allen serious problems, the one that turned up against Chisora stinks the place out, as does the one that got bashed up by Takam.
Allen by brutal KO. Now that he's more active and more dedicated than ever he's going to be a real problem for most of the guys in the division and a punk like Gashi is nothing. Allen v Chisora will be a 50/50 fight.
It's definitely going to be interesting, but the train is a moment of complacency and a David Price bomb from being derailed forever.
Yup, Chisora went the distance with Pulev and probably would have done with Whyte had he not been deducted points as it changed the way he fought late on, in my opinion. There's a lot to like about Allen but also things to dislike about him too, mainly the hype around a guy that was getting paid for not taking the sport seriously enough. The Bracamonte shouldn't be forgotten, it wasn't that long ago, he lost last week too. He was brought over here, like Nebo, to make Allen look good but instead highlighted all of his flaws. The Irn Bru aftr the fight was cringeworthy and I hope what Hearn said to him after was a real wake up call, it looks like it's working but Allen shouldn't really be getting praised for finally putting the effort in, that should have happened before he turned pro after just 10 amateur fights or whatever it was.
