    Allen wasn't just walking onto punches. He was somehow walking into punches that were missing!

    No one laying into him. Read the thread. Over a year ago most people who posted were imploring him to not keep getting tough fights.

    Everyone here is sound, we’ll all be praying his ok.

    I agree, but think we should just chill out with the criticism of Hearn and himself, until we know the lad is fine.

    He’s got in the ring to get paid first and foremost, but for our entertainment.

    Obviously we hope it’s nothing serious.

    But he clearly had no business being in the ring with David Price never mind Povetkin. He needs to pack it in or just face area level fighters or 2/3 fight novices.

    I'm a firm believer fighters need to be protected from themselves at time. Allen would've fought Wilder tonight and sadly Hearn would've let him because money is all he cares about. He paid Allen £9000 tp fight Ortiz. He was going to put him in with Povetkin next. It's disgusting.

    Like i said in the other thread

    He’s done bloody well for himself this last year.

    Needs to be looked after now, hope everything is all okay with him and it’s just precautionary

    I hope to god he’s ok. I haven’t slagged him off just praises Price. He can box on if he’s ok but only at a certain level. He beat Webb and Browne but Price is in like a a weird inbetween level and showed what he can do with the right opponent and no bad luck/nerves etc.

    Well I hope Allen is ok, didn't realise he was stretchered out.

    I was annoyed at the time I must admit, I thought he should have been swinging earlier in the fight.

    Glad he wasn't getting thrown in with Povetkin - that's the silver lining. Has no business fighting that man.

    I read comment saying that Dave Allen said to Barker he couldn’t see and that’s why they stopped it. Never know if people are telling the truth, some real sad ****s who feel the need to make **** up.

    Hilarious that some people are now saying after the event that he should never have been in the ring with Price. He was the favourite to win the fight and the majority of people here tipped him to win.

    I’m not one of them. Thought him and Price was a good fight. It’s the other fights that grated me: yoka and Ortiz. The fact that he was lined up to box Povetkin is beyond disgusting.
