The picture looks like when the uncle you haven't seen for 25 years turns up on your doorstep wanting to stay "just for a few days". The look on Allen's face : working out how he's gonna explain it to the missus.
At least they're not pretending to hate each other and in fairness, both will knock lumps from one another til one falls.
I said it in the other thread, I simply can’t pick between these. Browne has reached some sort of level before, Allen hasn’t so I’d favour Browne BUT Allen has a chin and Browne doesn’t have a gas tank so it’s literally anyone’s. I don’t think we will see such a poor level of high entertainment for a long time.
I have to admit it's refreshing to see the respect and genuine like for each other that they've shown as opposed to the kind of rubbish that Whyte stoops to with his immature way of creating beef that isn't there.
Still think Allen takes this. He won't get stopped as his chin rivals Mariusz Wach's and I feel he'll eventually catch Browne with his overhand right he loves to throw. Browne has that tough never give up Aussie mentality but gets hurt easily and I feel Allen will stop him in this fight in the mid to late rounds.
I'm a betting man, but this is close. If I was pushed i'd go for inside the distance. If I had to pick a winner it would be Allen.
remember when you could justify paying for your sky sports package? now we pay for dave allen vs lucas browne as a main event - better still, sky sports plus (ifl) now provides us added insight with 4 rambling interviews a day from allen, all of benn and eubanks offsprings opinions on everything ever and let's not forget whyte's brother mentoring us too. love it
