Agreed. He does stumble quite often but the boy knows his stuff. When he did some of the big fights on Setanta I remembered one night he started talking about Ruben Olivares - I nearly fell off my ****ing seat. The boy knows his stuff, no doubt.

 

Agreed, he's a very good presenter but his main problem at Setanta was that when he was there it meant Andy Kerr wasn't.

just dave clark and khans team and khan himself. i want to like this guy, get the impression deep down hes a decent kid but he/they make it so hard as a boxing fan. u can see jim watts expression when the guy askd him about it he was like, eh yea hes good and has potential but thats only 25% of the game etc.

Dempsey is the champions league of boxing presenters then you have Andy Kerr maybe just in the Priemier League and Dave Clark is just Pub Football standard. Dempsey was under used at Setanta boxing only for the bigger fights they rolled him out. He is still working with Setanta Ireland doing the football coverage so if SKY comes in for him I think he may go back to them.

 

Dempsey is the dog's.

The man makes a big fight have that edge he asks questions to the pundits and pushes them...he has a blatant love for the sport and his sheer professionalism is there to see under pressure he shows why he is p4p number 1 top boxing presenter on uk television .

 

I hate Sky's robotic commentators outside of English football and cricket, no passion or sense 90% of the time who are just hype machines covering more then 1 sport at a time. Does my nut in hearing them echo everything the promoters say, get Buncey in there, get some life into the sports presentation Sky, I'M BEGGING YOU! (although not willing to actually do anything about it )

 

I felt for a long time Sky needs to get p45'ing some of there boxing and also the football team. Sky has a tendency to let things go really stale before acting on it. I grown up listening to Watt and Mccrory and both imo should step aside and get some fresh faces in.
