Dave was kind enough to give me an interview for my website (I am not allowed to provide the link) which some of you know about.

Anyway here is a summary of what was said:

Ryan Rhodes will fight again in September, hopefully against European champion Lukas Konecny. Dave said this fight is more important to build up Ryan's world ranking and not capturing the European belt.

He felt that Curtis Woodhouse did enough to win his previous fight and was not too happy with the referee! Curtis will be back in July.

Ryan Rhodes is a fantastic fighter and I feel he'll win a world title!!

I'd love to see Mooresy Vs Rhodes for a big world title!!

    What a good shout.

However I feel Ryan may have left it too late. I hope not. Moores v Rhodes I wouldn't know who to support it'd change minute to minute, second to second.

This next fight will be a hard one for Rhodes because the guy he is facing is no pushover, he has a solid record and has only lost to good quality fighters.

Obviously this fight is not for the "proper" EBU title though, as its Moores which holds this. Which mabe why Coldwell says the world ranking is more important.

Rhodes is ****ing about avoiding decent fights. Hopefully he gets a crack at a world title but he may have to wait 2/3 years at this rate. The Small fight should have happened but it may have seemed too risky.

i think both Moore and Rhodes can beat Martinez for the world title..Maybe even pick 1 up each and then go onto a unification?? Or is that fantasy thinking by myself?? I often do it..:patsch

I just feel both are world class and evetually they will prove it by having a belt each!!:good

might be overselling Rhodes a bit. think Moore is world class but Rhodes might have a tough time with Lukas Konecny and probably falls short at the next level.

I just feel Ryan is so awkward to fight at times BUT I always hope the best for all our fighters in this country and am blinded by patriosim sometimes..(My spelling is terrible at times;))...I just hope these 2 guys earn a few quid now..

    Good luck to both!!:good

If only Ryan had a promoter that beleived in him before he came to Hayemaker.

Rhodes will not get an opportunity with Hayemaker.
