Parker was there for the taking and Hughie Fury will never have a better chance of winning a World Title. The fighting man only had to turn up wearing boxing shorts and fight - instead he wears a skirt and runs away all night.

 

"Landed all night" - what the hell were you watching? It missed wildly. Watch it again. It's a truly awful left hook. When it did land Lewison was spent. Like a beached whale in the ring. It wasn't hard to land it when that tub of lard was gassed.

It's a god awful left hook, don't understand how anyone can say otherwise.

 

That wasn't pretty but I'm glad Joyce got through it without any dramatics.

A lot of things to pick at if I'm honest, but have to keep reminding myself it's his debut.

Don't like the idea of Sexton next but I guess there's not a huge amount of options unless you start looking at a softer option than Lewison.

 

I was very impressed with Hutchinson. He’ll grow into a cruiser in a few years but moves like a middleweight. His footwork was very impressive. I’ll look forward to watching how he goes on.

 

It busted the mans eye until he could barely open it and then rocked him to his boots, so much so the corner threw in the towel. It can't be that bad!

 

That was the jab that caused the damage to the right side of the face. You need to watch the fight again, I'm amazed you didn't see a problem with the left hook.

 

He looks like he’s got some good skills, he’s not a concussive puncher but wins rounds with his punch output, particularly that jab. He’s got good feet and never allowed Lewison to set himself...but the left hook was very slow and he almost pushed with it. He needs to sort it or he’ll get countered with a big shot if he’s not careful.

Impressive pro debut though.

 

Was a middleweight in the amateurs and they weigh in on the day of fight, very surprised he never started of campaigning down there or SMW at most. Certainly one to watch.

 

Watching a younger fresher kid beating up a older proud man did nothing for me.

I would rather die than be humiliated in this way.

Heads should be hanging in shame tonight.

 

What weight was he fighting at tonight mate?

 

Light Heavy. Surprised as obviously you get time to put weight on and ryhdrate in Pros compared to amateurs.

 

I dont know if Joyce has hand problems or that is the normal form of his left hook, but the left hook was shockingly bad. It was missing, it was slow it was choreographed. To me it looks he has a left hand injury.

The jab was good.

He looks heavier handed than Whyte. But not elite level power, he makes up for it with speed and output. I would fancy him to do Whyte in 1-2 fights (assuming that left hook was due to a hand injury).

 

Good nights boxing. Hutchinson was the pick of the bunch...looked a million dollars...

Jj...criticise if you will but he was better than Whyte...

Good chin but shouldn’t have taken a shot...that will be his come uppance against top fighters...

I met him a couple years back, very nice guy.

He easily walked around at light heavy, I'm sure we discussed he would end up at that weight.
The guy is also a traveller, hence the accent.
