Higgins is just doing what he's paid for. I mean, for sure, he's doing it badly but a promoter is there to promote...

Find it funny that those shutting down a Parker rematch are also clammering for a Chisora rematch . Yet when Whyte -Chisora 2 happens, Whyte easily outboxes Chisora to a UD victory, but if Whyte vs Parker 2 happens, it will be very close either way as in the first. But lets face it, Whyte vs Ortiz is the fight everyone wants to see. WBC need to get on board and sanction it as the #1 mandatory next to fight Wilder vs Fury winner.

A win is a win, true. But this one was close and controversial, which asks for a rematch, at least down the line.
Yes, but it's about the other KD that clearly wasn't, and him having to hold on for dear life to make it to the bell
Me? Where do I say he owes me anything? Or Parker for that matter.
But it's pretty clear why he doesn't want it. Because there's a very good chance (I'd say above 50%) that he'd lose said rematch.
You clearly mentioned that for PARKER. Parker is still young and can get back in the mix as he still has time.
But that's what they said about so many young guys that had unfortunate or even controversial losses against them. Many of which you never heard from again, or never got another big shot.

I want Whyte to get his Joshua rematch next, and after that loss he can go and fight Parker a 2nd time.

Whyte doesn't care about the rematch with Parker for the same reasons that Parker wasn't interested in fighting Whyte before the AJ loss. It doesn't do anything for him.

Financially, it makes a lot less than the first fight did. People won't buy it on PPV in the numbers that did first time around.

In terms of rankings, beating Parker again won't increase Whyte's standing, he's already near or at the top by all 4 sanctioning bodies.

Until Whyte gets the AJ fight, his priority should be to make as much as possible. Fighting Chisora again this December would do that.

If Whyte then gets in the ring with AJ in April, it would be interesting to see if Parker is willing to fight Whyte coming off a loss to AJ.

of course whyte is, he won the fight due to scoring a bull**** knockdown caused by a headbutt. without that parker would have won.

what a ridiculous thing to say after the fight has already happened and his guy lost.
I’m sure Whyte is terrified. Just like Lemmy can’t sleep at night thinking he might end up fighting his arch-nemesis Spike again.

Whyte won but very nearly lost. So surely it makes sense that the guy lost but nearly won wants a rematch and the guy who won and nearly lost is happy to have a solid name on his record but would rather move on to the next.

I bet if Parker had won and whyte and hearn were pestering for a rematch Higgins or Parker would not fancy it so much.

Myself, I'd be very happy with a rematch I thought the 1st one was a good fight.

It deserves a little bit more consideration than you're giving it. Parker seemed seriously confused by what we can all agree was a headbutt. Personally I think Whyte picked out and would prob lose a rematch.

That said Higgins is a moron and seems intent on proving so as often as the media allow him.

Chisora fight has more substance, it was closer and harder fight to score.

Whyte won both fights with correct scoring .

Parkers team should concentrate on themselves to get them in position for a title shot not demand one. I didn't see Parker asking for a Takam rematch in a fight he should have lost to answer any questions?

Parker looked really good in his recent workout with Barry but his team is incompetent in picking the right fights to progress him, hopefully his next fight is a start.

It was a headbutt but Dillian beat even without the knockdown imo. I think Parker would get beaten again, it’s not a crazy suggestion down the line but with two back to back losses he needs to beat a top 10-15 name before he is even in contention.

It's not points wise I think it really influenced the fight but damage. When Parker cleared the fog towards the end of the fight he very nearly had Whyte out of there.

Anyway I agree he'd be better off racking up a few wins before going after of the top 8 or so fighters in his division. Browne would be my choice.

Parker just isn’t that good, he’s lack of killer instinct/meanness is what makes him even worse. He is argubably top 10 guy but he sits just outside of the top 5. I would pick AJ, Wilder, Ortiz, Whyte, Tyson, Miller, Povetkin and Usyk all to beat him. I think he is very competitive with Joyce, Kownacki, Pulev and all those guys sitting outside of the top 5
