after the daws fight mick hennessy seemed to mention lenny had been on the wrong end of a bad decision against barry morrison a while back and believes he should still be british champion WHAT ****IN FIGHT WAS HE WATCHIN? we all remember the crazy score that parris tried to make out it was in that fight 117 - 112 daws. whilst the others scored it 115 - 113 an 115 - 114 in favour of morrison theirs a pattern of london based fighters gettin the nod from uncle dave. and who's score card was involved in the craig watson robbery ? :think
Mick Hennessy and Eddie Cotton need to share a beer. Remember Cotton in the Lewis vs Tyson fight.... made Cortez seem like an angel!
I will say it now and until the end of time...Parris is a **** He's already shown once he's susceptible to bribes and corruption, last night was another example.
Cotton's performance in the first fight between N'Dou and Malignaggi was embarrassing aswell, if N'Dou even threatened to get close to Malignaggi he would seperate them. It didn't matter if N'Dou was touching Malignaggi or if he was 3 feet away Cotton was determined that Malignaggi was going to be allowed to fight his fight. The difference in the closeness of the rematch compared to the first fight has everything to do with how Cotton reffed that first fight.
Bigears, what did I tell you about Dunne when many here wrote him off after his shock loss? I hate to gloat, but sometimes you just have to have a smug smoke, & no-one loves a smug smoke more than I:smoke
You know Dunky I've been meaning to say it to you, I've stayed supporting Dunne since the Martinez fight but I wasn't really fancying him against Cordoba. I believed Dunne was good enough to win back his European belt and earn the opportunity(well more than he did) to fight for a World title but I only thought he could win if he faced a Mike Oliver type or maybe Steve Molitor. But there were some people here calling him a domestic level fighter, and whatever about Dunne's chin that is something Dunne has always been above. Frank Maloney claimed it would be Dunne's last fight and that he'd take a real hammering. Sure lots of people were wrong about Dunne winning a World title, but it's those people who will feel like idiots. The worst bit is I've heard some people claim 'Dunne only won because of the crowd :-(' It does seem that some people just won't give a man credit no matter what. Anyway back to the point Dunky, you were right and (almost)everyone else was wrong , and next time an Irish fighter loses and I'm despondent I'll come and see what you have to say before righting then off fully.
Poor old Danny must be ****ing Parris' daughter. He tried his very best to do him in the McDermot fight..cheating, fat , baldy headed **** :deal
To be fair to Big Dave though..... he could (and probably should) have stopped Williams in the 5th. There have been a few close Williams fights where Parris was the ref and the decision (his of course) has gone the other way by a point - some mysterious 10-10 round crops up somewhere magically. A bit like Henry Cooper and the bloke who reffed him vs Bugner - he 'did' Cooper a few times I have been told.
its looking increasingly likely the bizness crew will be in london again on the 12th june, (york hall) for morrison vs wright, so we'll see who's in the chair that night.
I always thought Dunne had bags of talent, & knew in the Martinez fight that it was just a case of him being caught cold by an average fighter. nine times out of ten would have beaten that guy, & if he ever fights Rendall Munroe I guarantee Dunne wins on points, & it will be a lot easier than people think:deal
Parris is a big guy dont think hes fitting into any pocket (im saying hes not biased i like him hes a great referee and officail)
Hey maka my good man, let me enjoy my gloat By the way, yer pal Baz versus Nigel Wright is a fascinating fight, I have always rated Wright here but as you know I will obviously be supporting the scot:smoke I think that the bizness will beat him on points, but its gonna be a hard fight for both men I feel.
