Dave Parris needs to be sacked

Absolute joke of a card.

 

Didn't see the fight last night, but i have seen a lot of fights he has scored and scored badly. I think he should be banned from the sport as a judge.

 

hes a disgrace.

 

Maybe he gets employed because hes known to take a bung?

 

I'm not a fan of these types of threads and that's why I never post in them. That said, last night was shocking. 'Scoring' 4 out of the first 5 rounds to a man not even in them is just embarrassing for the sport in this country, IMO.

If I ****ed up at work I'd expect consequences and repercussions; Parris is ****ing up people's careers and the image of the sport for either being completely inept or, dare I say it, corrupt:-(. I think the BBBofC needs to really be scrutinising every scorecard from now on, especially when you consider Parris' record for, shall we say, 'dodgy decisions'.

I feel terrible for Bayaar.

 

I don't feel that sorry for Bayaar myself, it was a close fight. The draw really wasn't that bad IMO, not that I scored it but watching it and having got a mental picture of the fight I didn't think it was that bad. Sexton did well after Bayaar was cut and I thought he also could have got a few early rounds when Sky were blowing Bayaar's trumpet. Would people have been moaning as much if the card for Sexton was by a single point?

He still kept his title...the draw isn't a terrible result for him so lets not shed too many tears.

I thought Sexton's rally did make it closer, though I thought a draw would've still been a bit harsh.

But 116-112 is so out of touch with reality, I have to wonder if Dave Parris actually exists or is some kind of spatial anomoly.
