Sands looks like he came out of the womb fighting. So natural, so loose and relaxed. He just flows. Kind of reminds me of Duran in that regard. Not stylistically, but with both of them there is no stiffness or hesitation. Nothing at all mechanical, like their knowledge about how to fight was just inbred. They just go at it. Sands knows how to use angles, pull just out of range, and counter. Just a joy to watch. He reminds me of the St. Paul school of fighters. Hands down, using angles, drawing leads, shifting his footwork, countering. He really left it all on the table with Olson. He was used up at the end of the tenth round. I wonder if he could have gone 15 rounds in a championship match? He might have conserved his energy more if the fight was scheduled for 15, though. Nice to have the option of seeing the action in color, but I'll stick with black and white for this one.
