Winning times from Freddie and Dave's day werent that much different.

 

There is little doubt sports like Athletics and Football have evolved as they have become more scientific and professional. These sports have measurable improvements, you can actually see the times etc getting better.

But boxing aint those sports...Comparing them is ridiculous.

I'm sounding like a broken down record with the amount of times I have said this...but for all the things that have progressed in boxing, and some things have, more have regressed.

 

Well keep saying it then maybe you will believe it cause I certainly don,t.

 

I used to not believe it...but I got convinced by the evidence that was staring me in the face and I just needed people more experienced to show me.

A relative of mine managed to buy me a copy of Fammo's book 'The Method' this week - after I'd actually given up all hope of ever getting hold of one - they are now bloody hen's teeth!
