    They said the same thing about Bruce Curry, before he floored Wilfred
    '3x' in 1978, and beat the 'daylights' out of him.

    El Radar's chin had a magnet in it that night, and Curry's fists were iron.

    And Bruce Curry was just a slightly above average puncher.

    Who won the fight? Who won the rematch?
    I saw a lot of Dave Green from his early fights to his top line bouts, he never really improved to the next level .

    Bruce Curry won the fight.

    Madison Square Garden, who had the rights to Wilfred's bouts -
    made sure he got the decision.

    Everyone who was their, including me - knew he won that fight.

    Same thing with the Wilfred Benitez vs Harold Weston I fight. Harold got robbed.

    What happened,,,,,,,,,

    Did Wilfred Benitez get injured prior to the bout with Davey Boy set for May 26, 1979
    in Monte Carlo.

    Or,,,,,,,,,,,make believe injury.

    Who refered the John H Stracey fight? Jeezus all i can remember was Dave sticking the nut on john with the odd punch thrown in for appearance sake:lol: Mind you John was putting on a fair bit of Buchanan/Duran style "attention referee grimices" but the ref was having none of it as i recall:smoke

    'non-title' bout in February 1977.
