anyone sort of worried by the lack of quality beneath british level in the domestic scene?

so many lads with sub 10-0ish records who will lose and then just can't afford to fight. awful pay scheme for the hall shows. it can work out. but the amount of talent we are seeing getting made redundant is really worrying.

i know it's not related to this rthread too much but Jan Ardon has a 4-10 record and is clearly of british or commonwealth quality. but no fan base, can't get fights in his favour and after his win last week the fight he had lined up got cancelled...what are we doing? the undercurrent of our sport is eating itself.
