that argentian was crap that allen fought last time up he couldnt punch the skin of a overcooked custard, this is a big step up hes in with a fighter who can punch very hard, and allen is not crafty lol, hes just got a big iron head.

 

I wouldn't deny that tbh. Soko is a pretty good fighter. But as i said: Different matchup. Browne is a boxer with good power but lacks the main ability to box: Footwork and handspeed. Soko has much better footwork and that is the reason why he went the distance with so many big punching guys or big talents. He's also 7 years younger than Browne. Browne is old and has bad skin (cuts). He's not bad, he's clearly the superior boxer in here but he looks physically weak and the last fights are confirming that in my opinion.

 

I don't think Allen is a big puncher though. Don't get me wrong here. But he has those looping overhand rights that can hurt you and if Browne is defending as sloppy as he did recently it's just a matter of time till Allen lands one of those shots. And i strongly doubt that Browne can take them.

Another factor is: 12 rounds. Both are having TERRIBLE stamina and gas tanks. Can't even say who has worse gas tank here. Allen at least is still going forward like a plodder and trying to land. Browne at some point is useless. And he didn't go past 6 rounds since the Chagaev fight.

 

I mean the only reason Allen does beat Browne will be due to toughness and fitness! hes teak tough already and if hes in great condition he should win, he will outwork browne, but he will need to get in the wheel house and thats very dangerous place to be with browne. Browne said he will try to keep it long and not get involved if he has a chance.

I’m gutted I’ve got to miss this tonight. It’s a dire card but really wanted to catch the main event for the comedy factor. As I predicted, brace yourself for a Lucas Browne boxing clinic. It will be like Botha (Browne) against Tyson (Allen) except there will be no knockout for the big dosser from Doncaster, England.

Literally cannot watch this at all, I’m at a function tonight for dinner, impossible to even get my phone out at any point because it would just look so crass. Will try to find a YouTube video with the full fight after without knowing the result.

I don't think Allen has bad stamina. He's turned up to fights unfit which isn't the same thing.

A fit Allen has a decent engine. Allen's weaknesses are size (small HW), output (slow handed and hesitant), losing his head (first Lenroy Thomas fight) and lack of crushing power.

His strengths are chin, underrated fundamentals, and a decent jab (when he uses it).

If he doesn't get KOd in the first 6 (and I don't think he will) then he wins comfortably. Probably by stoppage

Browne will win this. Allen is slow and Browne showed a nice Jab against slow opponents in the past. He will box Allen from the outside and wins by UD.
