Allen needs to lose a stone in weight. It is almost like he is happy to be a continual, propping up the lower end of the card, type of fighter. If he actually focused on the pre-fight job at hand (training and fitness), he would be a British Champion and possibly a Euro Champion. A shame because he is a really likeable bloke.
Made me laugh when Hearn suggested that Allen was in good shape. He looks like he's rolled right out of the bookies, which he probably has. I like Allen but he's had a lot of chances and exposure considering his ability and he's still not taking things seriously. Hearn only keeps him on because he's a character.
He is a strange character always contradicting himself, one minute he's quitting them he's not. He is coming in the shape of the Lenroy fight then a few days later he's not bothered how he looks or weighs aslong as he feels good! He's basically full of sh it and winging it, if he ha anything about him and any aspirations he should of got a proper trainer and nutrition team behind him after the Webb fight but instead he's visiting groups of students late at night drinking iron bru. Like previous poster said in 30 years he be telling stories he could of made it but realistically these stories will be more likely in five years rather than thirty.
Allen came to win and looked good nebo didn't look like a 10/1 underdog in regards to Allen. Had seven bells knocked out of him by Ortiz and said nebo has power
