What do you see the future holding for david allen? Obviously not a world beater, not even close, but has good support and a strong stance in boxing at matchroom because of his ticket sales I can imagine if he wins they'll push for the Sam Sexton fight for British title If he loses... Do you think Matchroom will stick by him and use him as a novelty? He's a big ticket seller so could be used on their nxtgen shows or shows that are low in interest
He'll go toward Sexton I imagine. If he loses? Who knows. He does know his boxing though and I think he would make a pretty good pundit. I'd rather him end up with Boxnation in that case as their views tend to be less constricted than the Sky pundits
if he wins Sexton but I think he loses his just not at this level I mean what's wrong with been southern area and English level and if he keeps winning he might have the odd fight at British level with decent payday and make a good living but it's not his level but you know hearn every fighter he has is world level and you are not a hearn fighters unless you have been smashed up by a world level fighter
True story Hearn said he only concerns himself with fighters who have the potential to be world champion, suppose the next logical step win or lose is AJ on PPV for 29.99. Nobody knows Parker but Allen is a household name.
Hearn would have a nerve to do that lol and he will say something like Allen gave aj some tough sparring and now there all of a sudden is some beef and everyone knows hearn loves the storylines plus he will get Allen cheap which means more money the greedy but still humble aj
No lose situation for Allen, if he wins he gets British title fight, if he loses the British champ will still take the fight as they will see it as an easy win with maximum exposure as there on big matchroom card. Allen brings entertainment and a loss will only further how cheap he will be and Eddie can add another title bout to the card. I do hope he wins though, you gotta love Allen!
That right he might be a nice guy but it doesn't mean nice guys with no talent should take spots off talented fighters
