...and yeah, Rob, he is showing heart now...it'll take more than one such performance to erase the stigma of what transpired w/ Pascal, though. :-(

    Round 4

Kalenga is jabbing to set up his big wide swings, always pressing inward. Lots of snatch-and-shove from Bolonti, with a few rabbit punches in the clinch. Very little clean scoring either way.

    10-9 Kalenga

    40-34 Kalenga

Didn't The Bomber wreck this guy ? Or is this the guy who slashed his face open.

    Round 5

Kalenga is lobbing soft double jabs at Bolonti's high guard and finishing up top with big arcing rights at the head. Body punches strewn in by Kalenga, not sitting down on them, saving everything for the big right hands up top and occasional can-opener hooks chasing after Bolonti. Very negative stuff from Bolonti, hiding behind the guard, occasionally bopping Kalenga on the nose with a pot-shot jab, still holding a lot.

    10-9 Kalenga

    50-43 Kalenga

Looks like Kalenga well on his way to a shut out win. Then again a 41 year old comebacking Green who had been out of the ring for 3 years was able to achieve that feat, so not really saying all that much... At least Bolonti is good enough to go the distance top lhws, and cws. Durable journeyman.

    Well, er...both?

Tony didn't lose a round and dropped Bolonti twice - but he was cut and some of the rounds were competitive.

    Round 6

Kalenga is starting to feel the pace of the first half, winging lead hooks with both hands and falling in to let Bolonti wrap him up. Bolonti doing lots of ducking against the ropes and exposing his crown, with the rest of the head covered with leather or forearm. Nippy exchanges up close, both scratching at the body. Kalenga has mostly abandoned his jab.

    10-9 Kalenga

    60-52 Kalenga

That cut was a fight stopper and came early. Bellew done good to keep going even though I was rooting for Bolonti

    Round 7

Kalenga is slipping the jab as he lumbers forth, tilting his neck to his right and using his upheld left glove to nudge away Bolonti's when it comes. Bolonti a little busier, first now with his jab, but still mostly retreating. Lots of holding and one more hip-toss by the Argentinian. The ref finally takes a point for holding. Kalenga is throwing shoeshine combos at Bolonti's chest, looking arm-weary. Jab and wild 120° angle uppercut from miles off by Kalenga, just brushing the guard.

    10-8 Kalenga

    70-60 Kalenga

I wonder how many negotiating table stipulations Green would need to ensure victory?

Kalenga is a bit too young & prime for Green's tastes. He'd really need to stack the deck! (8oz gloves for himself, big puffy ones for Youri... giant ring... Danny's uncle as the ref...)

    This isn't a bad one. :?

I mean, it doesn't hold a candle to Wednesday's but no reason to slag it off. Maybe the best card top down to bottom of the weekend (as Smith vs. Fielding and Rios vs. Bradley are great main events but with weak support)
