I don't see how you can give Avanesyan the majortity of these rounds. Punches landed Lamont has the edge, even when a round's close. If they don't have their cards filled out already judges better be sharp here.

Peterson landing the heavier stuff now. One body shot sapped some wind out of A.

    Round 9

Avanesyan is lifted off his feet and deposited behind Peterson, somehow. Weird. Ref admonishes Peterson for levitating his opponent and restores some order. Avanesyan is boxing southpaw and trying a scooping right upper-hook while diving forth. Peterson is just peppering Avanesyan's midsection with soft tap-tap hook combos on either side, or with heave-ho uppercuts slinging his entire body weight in. Jabs shaving the top of either man's hairline when they're out at mid-range. Avanesyan doing more of the headhunting but Peterson getting by far the better of the inside body work, and slowing Avanesyan down with it.

    10-9 Peterson

    87-84 Peterson

Before tonight, I didn't think Avanesyan would make 12.
