Obviously he scored a couple good results against Kelly and Taylor and Eddie Hearn has claimed he has a "win and stay on" policy and he won so he should have been given another good fight. He's holding the EBU belt I think so the idea is probably to take on the next guy who wants to cross through the euro level. He would be a legit opponent for Ortiz Jr, Ennis, or Benn but all three are on a level above Kelly. He might give Benn a real challenge, I favor Benn though and I think Ennis and Ortiz are too much for him. I'm not ready to hand Avanesyan the keys to the division and say that all of these new contenders have to fight him or be accused of ducking. He's doing good work, it should be rewarded, but his ceiling is not high.
Yes he did but he's had some good wins since then n seems to getting avoided by anyone coming up in the UK scene after destroying the Josh Kelly hype
I see he has been signed with Uncle Frank since October of last year. So hopefully they start giving him some meaningful fights. If you are elite then you should be facing the best. The big fights should be based on the best facing the best, not based on who has the most casuals prepared to pay PPV loot to watch them
