At the end of 2019 nobody was on a trajectory than David Benavidez was. Now he's in serious danger of the same kind of career derailment his brother had. He needs to fight Charlo, Plant, or Canelo next. Someone who will get him focused.
It's a little late in the career for that kind of thing, the other guy made weight. I'm sure that took effort. Of course this Kyrone Davis isn't going to turn down a paycheck over this, but it's still bad form.
