So you think Calz never faced a hard hitter that could take his best shot. That's the point I was making. Remaining undefeated i. 46 pro fights is a major accomplishement

Such an ignorant post and obviously someone who wasn't watching the division back then
He had 24 world title fights but only around 8 in England

I'm sorry Denmark and Scotland. Who cares. The point is that Calzaghes opposition is weak. Benavidez has already beaten a similar level of competition at 168

David Bemavidez steamrolls Joe Calzaghe who is the single most overrated fighter in this forum with the exception of Vitali Klitschko

    Better defense? Maybe.

But Plant lacks the punch volume and stamina, two attributes Benavidez hasn't seen to any great extent as a pro, Calz brings to the table.

Calz was also much more capable on the inside.

As I've noted, I'm not as enamored with Calz as some of these Brit nuthuggers, but he was undoubtedly a very good fighter and better, in my opinion, than DB.

    Calz by 115-113-ish type decision.

This is exactly how I see it. Although I actually think that Canelo would've beaten Benavidez if they did the fight. Still an all time duck by Canelo

But threw better combos than Vitali and with more speed.

That`s because back peddles, Calzaghe was a come forward fighter with a high work rate.

And Wales. Calzaghe is Welsh. It seems you don't know that since you think he fought primarily in England. If you don't even know that he's Welsh, I don' think your opinion on him or how he would fare in fantasy match-ups is all that knowledgeable, respectfully.

Hilarious hey. He was totally getting pieced up by euro level fighters like Robin Reid. I actually like Calzaghe, I was very impressed when he beat a prime Kessler who was a monster, but Benavidez is a bad match up for him.

Are you going to just state its nonsense without even explaining why?
