Clenelo should better avoid this guy.

Clenelo gassed bad last night and lost the last few rounds against a 40yo GGG who looked like absolute dog**** in the first half of the fight. Clenelo was always a gasser but since he's off the juice he clearly lost more and more of his gas tank. He gassed against Bivol too.

Imagine what a guy like Benavidez would do to him ....

Clenelo punches like a Minimumweight and can't hurt him. Benavidez would probably lose a few rounds early but he'd destroy him in the second half putting the pressure on him with his incredible engine and volume.

Benavidez would beat the living crap out of that guy. A late stoppage for DB would be on the table.

Hopefully they fight him next. I can't wait to see that.

    “Canelo punches like a Minimumweight”

Benavidez is probably Canelo’s toughest test at 168. I still think he has the skills to beat him though after his wrist surgery. Benavidez looks very good but he hasn’t been in the ring with any top fighter in the professional ranks.

I remember a lot of people thought Caleb Plant, Callum Smith, and Billy Joe Saunders would give Canelo huge problems, which they didn’t. I’m pretty confident Canelo would win comfortably on points.

Well. Callum Smith at 175 with a full camp would cause him some real problems. Callum Smith at 168 and a 6 week training camp? Yeah, probably not - as we saw.

BJS and Plant are different styles. BJS did really well early on but i mean it's boxing so an orbital bone can break. Plant is a notorious gasser too btw. Very, very suspect cardio. And Plant as i said is a total different stylistic matchup.

Benavidez is a tough style for Clenelo. Output, range, size, cardio and speed. I don't like Benavidez' footwork. He's slow there but i doubt he'd need quick feet to beat Clenelo.

I'd love to see that fight next. I mean 168 hasn't many options so Benavidez would be logical.

You are overestimating Benavidez, his best win is washed up Dirrell. Canelo punches like a mininumweight? Well Benavidez got dropped by a jab

Benavidez ran into a jab and got dropped off balance. Wow. Errol Spence was hurt bad by Ugas. Fury was knocked down by Cunningham. Beterbiev got dropped by some bum early in his career too. I could continue for the next 2 days with stuff like that. Who cares? Clenelo has zero power against legit 168ers and 175ers. Stopping old drug addict Kovalev isn't changing my mind.

I don't think Canelo is a power puncher either, but you don't break someones Arm or fracture someone's eye socket with no power

LMAO. If Canelo's team allow any fight with Benavidez, Benavidez is not going to be coming to win. This is standard practice with Conelos team now

Because MMA is for sub 5 IQ and it is just as corrupt too

And maybe because I like boxing and I want a clean, legitimate sport that is about competiton and not A sides with unfair advantages and fixed fights. Is this so much to ask for?

no, you want to feel good about yourself. and certain fighters make you feel good about yourself. cause you feel some non existent connection that makes you feel like their success reflects on you. and facing the truth, just doesnt feel good. and you arent strong enough to handle it. so you resort to this. youre not the first to do it here, its a thing common in many.
