I was just watching Plant's fights against Uzcategui and Porky Medina......... Man, ouch, Plant has NOTHING for Benavidez and is gonna get put on a poster if and when they fight.

Really because I say Gavril drop Benavidez and get robbed on the cards.. The longer his camp stalls this fight the better for him because I see this going just like Sergio vs JCC Jr honestly..

Benavidez is an animal, he will beat plant almost as bad as he beat Dirrell in my opinion.

Even though most people think Plant is super fast and slick as hell because he beat Uzcategui, but that's not shocking to anyone, Jose was outclassed by Korobov with ease and taken to school by Lionel Thompson, but the Ooze Cat and Bandera Roja are operating on two different planes of existence. Jose has a lead foot, poor head movement, is not a combination puncher, not particularly fluid, and isn't great and bringing not stop intelligent pressure. Benavidez while not special in all of those areas himself, he's better at them all than Uzcategui especially the combination punching, angles and smart pressure part, which is what's necessary to beat Plant. Benavidez will overwhelm him eventually and drown him in the deep end of the pool in the second half of the fight.. Plant doesn't have the power to keep him off of him or adequate enough defense to slip everything coming his way. It's easy to look slick when facing a stiff wind, but not so much, when you have a tornado bearing down on you.

Benavidez might, but it's not a given by no means.
