Benavidez has allegedly got the best of Bivol in numerous sparring sessions.

The fact that they've sparred is bad for Benavidez. His somewhat unorthodox technique is going to be most effective the first time. Rematches (of a sort) favor the technician.

We already saw this fight in Ramirez vs Bivol.

    Bivol easily schools Benavidez.

Zurdo is like a C grade Benavidez. Does not have his speed and pop or skill. Bad comparison. People are overrating Bivol who I think is a pretty basic euro style fighter.

think this will end badly for Benavidez. Bivol is that good. all wrong for Benavidez.

If he was that good, he would have fought Beterbiev by now.

Benavidez would certainly bring some new flavor to 175 and he'll make the type of fights that we want to see. I'm all for it.

Beterbiev, even at this advanced age, likely stops Benavidez in a fan friendly firefight.

He weighs in under 168. Who is his size that he’s not fighting?

I thought it had to do with promoters refusing to let them fight due to them both being Russian.

Even daddy Benavidez knows Beterbiev would kill his son
