Joker you’re smart enough to know how Al Haymon operates over there. It’s clear those guys don’t pick their fights and has to face whomever they are told. Plant wanted to fight Benavidez when they were both champions but PBC had other plans and needed then both undefeated to lure Canelo.

The only way they can have leverage to face whomever is when Wilder was offered the huge contract from DAZN so PBC had to let him fight Fury to recoup some of the money for his guarantees. Errol Spence is paying hardball now because he only wants Crawford while their trying to convince him to take on Thurman.

The sooner that Espinoza over at showtime is replaced or has a serious talking to the higher ups at that parent company the better. He could just reject this fight.

From Haymon's point of view if someone is dumb enough to keep paying you fat checks to have your marquee guys keep beating each others left overs why not keep doing it. Promoters constantly do this, its up to the television partners go reject this BS.

Yeah the guy has no backbone at the moment. He’s spoken how he want Plant vs Benavidez vs Charlo on regular showtime. However it seems as if he doesn’t have the heart to decline these showcase fights that Haymon keeps trying to feed him..

Charlo enjoys the easy life, Benavidez just won't get there. Look at his brother!

Yeah, but some people can't live that way.

You're spot on, he needs to push back on this garbage. It's obvious Haymon (much like other promoters) are perfectly fine milking these money bags to the bank and laughing all the way while only putting there guys in risky positions if its a lottery (Canelo, DAZN overpriced, middle east) pay day.

Um, lol. No one even mentioned Canelo, who is supposedly out for a year anyway. Benavidez should really try getting one of gingers previous opponents. That’s how this **** works. The whole “I did it better” thing, you know. Callum Smith or Plant would be his best options. Charlo would be good, too. But like I said, it’s probably that no one wants to fight him. Or his promoters are just jerks.

    When did cinnabuns duck Wargarito?

Hopeless fight, wasn't Uzcategui the one caught being on EPO when their fight fell through the first time?, Benavidez wasting his Career with these type of selections,

Not sure but i read somewhere David tried Leaving PBC for TopRank a while back but wasn't able to leave due to his Contractual stipulation being so tight to wiggle through & at the same being promised the world by PBC, he might now be regretting his decision for resigning the way all this is headed,

End of the day Plant & Charlo don't want that matchup & would rather circle opponent's, in fact if i am right they would both even be open to the idea of facing one another than ever giving Benavidez the satisfaction of burying them.

Benavidez wants the Clenelo fight so badly. He won't fight Plant.

Uzcategui still fighting lol? Don't even remember the last time i saw him in a ring.

edit: Well, he fought some bums in Mexico in 2021 & 2022. I think he's probably done and just looking for a last big payday.
