lets hope it goes smooth. its andre the one filled with drama . anthony usually is much more reliable. hes more mentally tough thats for sure. dont underestimate anthony here, tough fight. benevidez should be fav no doubt but anthony solid all around guy.

Anthony is a decent fighter, no doubt, but -.

And Benavidez is spectacular. The only question is whether he can KO the slippery Dirrell. I think so, due to his long reach & fast hands.

Dirrell can run (Dirrell WILL run) but .....

I seriously doubt Dirrell will run. I also seriously doubt he will beat Benavidez. Benavidez is going to be a handful for years to come, especially if his hands can hold up to the pounding.

You think he's gonna' stand and trade?

Well, maybe he'll take it to the inside & try to get all ugly. I suppose that might be a valid game plan against the long limbed speed demon that is Benavidez.

Benavidez won’t stand and trade with Dirrell. He likely plans to use his masterful jab to attempt to turn Dirrell into a human Pez dispenser. Meanwhile, I think Dirrell believes he can utilize his “man strength” against a 21 year old Benavidez to take it inside and make it ugly.

I’ll take Benavidez by wide UD.

From there I wouldn’t mind seeing a fight between “The Dirrell Tamers” Benavidez and Uzcategui.

    Anthony, not Andre.
But Anthony is mentally weak as well. He freezes when he gets pushed. And he has show to get quite easily frustrated.
Benavidez will just walk through him. Maybe he wont get the stoppage but Dirrell will most definitely shell up.

Wrong Dirrell, he's fighting Anthony not Andre. There's no
sweet water in Anthony's veins, he's not a runner. Anthony isn't the physical
specimen of his older brother but he's far more sturdy and durable.
This is nowhere near a walkover fight for Benavidez.

Benevidez hasn't looked quite the same to me since he got shot but Dirrell is coming off a stoppage loss to Uzcategui and has seen better days.

A smart fighter changes styles based on his opponent, and I consider Anthony to be pretty smart.

He's not going to win if he stands toe-to-toe with Benavidez. B- is too fast & too aggressive. Also, B- is very calm under pressure. He's not likely to get thrown out of position and leave a big opening. Meanwhile, he'll be firing back.

Dirrell has to either dance, or go inside for the entire fight. If he does the latter, it could be a great fight, but I still give the edge to Benavidez.

Wrong Benavidez. The older brother, Jose, is the one who got shot. David should be fine against Anthony Dirrell.

    This thread is hilarious.
Regardless of which Benavidez is fighting which Direll, someone should keep an eye on that scumbag, Direll’s uncle.
