Hard to disagree with any of this. If Yarde had a proper trainer in his corner here this could be a much closer fight.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Benavidez come in weakened from the weight cut. He's been talking about the Cruiserweight division recently, which is telling.

I’d go with Benavidez to take it down the stretch on points or late stoppage, taking over as the fight goes on. As Yarde becomes more and more laboured, Benavidez will be able to set Yarde up more as he makes more and more mistakes defensively.

Benavides is skilled offensively, but has a relatively passive defence And does get caught, and Yarde is quick, hits decently hard and is decent Counterpuncher, so it’ll be interesting to how Benavidez’s chin holds up to Light Heavyweight power early on.

Hilarious anyone is still listening to that clown Glaser. He is wrong about basically everything and is a long time PBC hater. David looks in great shape to me, he said today he is already on weight and I believe him. CST about to eat crow in a few days when David dispatches Yarde easier than anyone else before him. I will try and not go too hard on you mate.

Yarde’s best win is Lyndon Arthur 2. He went life and death with a Lithuanian delivery driver a year ago, I don’t get anyone thinking this will be anything other than a Benavidez win.

Im looking forward to seeing how saggy his flabby bitchtits are at the weigh in. I've yet to see him in anything even approaching great shape. Not saying he isn't going to win, Yarde is unpredictable as ****. Still, I saw how he looked, and he looks gaunt, I don't need Rick Glaser to point that out to me.

I got Benavidez by mid fight stoppage. He'll go in firing, wear the older dude down and either the ref or the corner will stop it before round 8.

That said, maybe we see Dave's chin tested in a way we haven't yet and he fails that test and gets KTFO. Yarde has stones and can crack. I find this the less likely outcome, but not out of the question by any means.

Best of luck to both guys. This card, I'm buying.

Benevidez is looking Hella Drained going into Saturdays fights against Yarde. Idk this fight might be alot closer than I'm anticipating, Yarde definitely has a chance here and should be closer than the odds suggests IMO.

Point out specifically where I said Gvozdyk was easy to crack? At no point in time did I, don't put words in my mouth.

The point being made (which you clearly missed) was that the only reason David's team even took that fight was because Olek was a spent, previously retired force and they thought they could use his name...................and even a comeback trail, less than he previously was Gvozdyk still IMO won all of the final rounds against Benavidez.

When you say, 'he couldn't EVEN crack Gvozdyk' you are implying Gvozdyk is easy to crack and David should have done it. Its like saying 'He couldn't even beat fight X".

Thats your story. Gvozdyk only had 1 loss, had 3 tune up in the previous 12 months, and came into the ring in the best physical shape of his career looking like the Hulk. No evidence of him being a spent force at all. He was the same age at 2 of the top 3 p4p fighters in the world.

David looking in the best shape in years. Lean and healthy. Does not look drained to me at all, like in the Morrell final Presser when he looked like a junkie.

Yarde's guard is far sloppier than Benavidez guard, Yarde eats loads of shots, he's reckless.

Bang on exactly what I think. Yarde has lots of natural ability and heart but I think benavidez just has that extra bit over 12 rounds and I think by now yarde should be battle hardened and tunde is not a very good trainer from what I see. Doing all the mayweather rhythm work and no sparring when yarde is a big powerful guy who needs a better endurance gas tank
