David Benavidez Vs. Caleb Plant Press Conference Highlights...

That **** was so funny to him yet it looked like he was about to **** bricks & then turn around & act tough all over again, oops,

By the way did you ever see him smirk or laugh even once? if he found it that hilarious because i didn't.

 

And its a childish move to act like your going to fight right there at the press conference when you damn well know your not going to do a damn thing to risk a million dollar pay day.
Your a pro boxer ACT like one. Ray Leonard and Thomas Hearns are legends of the sport and both are in the HOF.
You ever see either of those two act like a child at a press conference when they were matched up with eachother?
I remember the announcement of the second fight like it was yesterday. Thomas Hearns was training at Kronk and a reporter went there and asked Hearns if he had basically any words that he wanted to direct to.wards Leonard. Know what he said? "Train Hard". And every single person knew the meaning of those words: Im coming for you with everything I have.
Now we get to watch two adult males act like they are in High School and cant control themselves.

 

True but isn't this what everyone really wants but now there changing their stance on it, i didn't care for it either way as trash talking in general never appealed to me,

But this is what people rave on about beforehand with certain fighters who are able to trash talk & entertain their way into even becoming more of an attraction & higher ppv draws & the argument of fake animosity while not being presented with an appealing real dislike between two fighters,

It was also expected by most fans when the fight was signed that this was going to happen as they collide at the same time at the press conference,

Guess it's no longer in style when Benavidez does it, unlike some other fighters that people praise over.

 

Who cares? It’s a fight, not a chess match at the library.

See I was very lucky to see truly great fighters come up and they didnt have to do any stupid WWE press conferences to get attention.
This is such a great match up between two exceptional pros. Plant is a slick boxer and David is a wreaking machine that nobody has been able to stop. The two styles mesh really well.

 

Those two actually hate each other and had for years and its due to where they are both from. And yes Barrera acted like a child for sucker punching Morales. But see the difference? That was REAL and the fights they had you can tell they hate one another.
If David wanted to figt Plant right there he could have easily gone over there and started swinging and you know that.
But he didnt did he? So if your going to talk that talk then be about it dont act like you cant get to someone all of the sudden when you jump up. It was FAKE and you know it.

 

Leonard didn’t need a silly press conference to act like WWE. He made his own when he entered the ring in a suit where most anticipated an announcement of a Hagler fight and retired instead.

 

I don’t care if it was fake or real. DB has always shown disdain for Plant. Plant didn’t walk away a winner in this when he was crowing online after the fact.

 

Oh Leonard was an attention hog thats for sure and he did do that for attention knowing full well he was going to retire.
But did you see Hagler jump up and start cussing like a teenager or trying to act like he was going to go after Leonard?
But Hagler and Leonard are two different classes of boxers compared to Plant and David.

 

Lol, now it’s ok because they weren’t cussing. Ok meemaw.

 

Who ever wins at a press conference? Maybe when Bowe suckered punched Donald or when Duran insulted Leonards then wife those would be two examples but David and Plant looked pretty stupid with David looking the worse of the two.

 

The last time Plant talked smack at a press conference, he got smacked and twice at that. That was bad enough. If he ticked off Benevidez and got smacked again, I'd imagine he'd lose a lot of respect and his confidence would likely be shaken before the fight even begins.

 

I think Plant looked worse mouthing off after the fact instead of just making his comments while Benavidez there.

 

Leonard in general with his time & time after retirements & people say he never ducked a fighter but never mention the time at which he didn't fight,

He didn't win that Hagler fight either btw but that's for another discussion.

 

Yeah & people quoting pro wrestling would have seen what would have happened had Plant actually done that with Benavidez going in there & laying the real smack down on his Ass! probably on the table for that matter.
