    As much as I like Benavidez he hasn't beaten anyone that good IMO.

    He doesn't have a single win over any opponent that I would classify as upper echelon.

    And alot of Benavidez's notable wins have aged poorly aswell.

    David Morrell one of Benavidez's notable wins was recently stopped by a British level fighter who's a school teacher.

    Caleb Plant got upset by an unremarkable opponent the same opponent who recently lost 12 rounds to 0 to Munguia.

    A prime Holyfield is leagues above anyone that Benavidez has beaten.
