Just seen this fight announced for the commonwealth title in australia. Good fight in my opinion, good to see Brophy step up in a really winnable fight, hope that Boxnation can pick this up. Good luck to brophy and his trainer Billy Nelson
don't know enough about Zac Dunn tbh, he beat Liam cameron but what did that really tell us anything more? brophy needs this type of fight and I hope he gets the win but I fear that his lack of quality opposition and the fact he is having to travel means that the odds are stacked against him Saying that billy will have him in great shape and if he can deliver the way billy says he does in sparring etc then this might be a great coming out fight for brophy and give him the chance to build with the commonwealth title around his waist
I've thought for a while that David might be best to drop down to MW. With his comparative lack of power (I said comparative Billy, I'm a fan) but I don't know how tight he is at the weight, always looks in good shape fight night but he doesn't look like a big SMW.
Chris Eubank is challenging for an IBO title on February 4th in London. You didn't know that? Most titles are meaningless these days. Dunn is 23-0 and does the business. That's all people unfamiliar with him need to know.
Fantastic news - and a TKO too!! Dunn was/is ranked (blame the internet don't blame me) in the Top 10 for 3 of the ranking "world" bodies. Apropos of nothing.............I see there must have been a HW "Prizefighter" style tournie on the undercard. What ever happened to Prizefighter? I know it was kinda dying a death but there were more than a few excellent contests.
