David Carmona vs Warlito Parrenas on now

Perranas isn't closing the gap and his long power punches are missing or blocked. He hits carmona with a nice left hook as david spins out, but they are very few and between.
Carmona is moving jabbing and landing occasional combinations that hits the target well, no headmovement from Warlito, straight lines.

The Mexicans have it for Perranas by 3 rounds. Hmmm

 

Parrenas landed some big shots in that round, but ate twice as much. His best round in a while but not enough with carmona outclassing him in the last minute.

Carmona 6-4

 

Good 10th round. Leather flys. Very hard to pick these rounds. I'll give the last round to Parrenas, he's using his face for defence but he's also pushing carmona back.

6-5 carmona

 

Parrenas has a swelling on his left side covering his vision perhaps because he was caught with some lovely right hands in that round, he was hurt and in a total ***** up by the ref the round is stopped 4 seconds early.
Carmona takes the round.

 

Great last round from both fighters in a nice action packed fight. Carmona takes that round with activity and landing that right hand on Parrenas battered cheek bone. He wasn't completely comfortable though, Warlito landed some very hard shots and could make a case for the round. His defence let him down, he was too eager to take punches to land them and was out landed.

The fight is a draw!! Really thought carmona took that fight and would have got the decision in Mexico.

They must have loved Parrenas' aggression, heart and powerful punching.
