Diaz was hardly a name when Floyd was at 135. He didn't duck Mayweather and Mayweather didn't duck him. Their careers never collided...looking back at it..I'm glad Floyd didn't fight him at 35.

That was close to a year ago he got Hammered, wasn't it? Figured that was pretty much the end of the road.

 

Good for him, hope he's put some money away. Class act and true warrior.

 

People always gush over Chris Arreola swearing up a storm in his ringside interviews, forgetting that DD did it first - and was funnier and more charismatic about it. He's also a better fighter and took the sport more seriously, always putting in the hard work despite having limited natural talent.

Wasnt there talk of him fighting jmm? maybe when jmm picked cuenca there wasnt much left for him to continue for.

Just said it on his radio show. Diaz says pretty much exactly what we said. He knows when to hang em' up.

 

He's a well earned champ. Had a great career and fought the best.
