I agree with you. But my point is, he's still a talented guy.

I agree, man. He has the best chance at either Klitschko in my opinion, which isn't a great chance...but compared to everyone else.

I was expecting fireworks when he first moved up to Heavyweight, and although he's shown off some good moments, knockdowns, etc...his opposition hasn't been upto scratch for the most part. Which is also why I'm blaming both parties for this bout not coming off still, mainly because I want to see what Haye can do...or if the Klitschko's are too good.

One right hand over the top does not equate to counterpunching. Try watching Mayweather vs Chavez or Corrales. You'll see a guy countering with 3 and 5 punch combinations consistantly. From the left or right with perfect balance and head movement. This David haye is not capble of.

Forget it, Ant. It’s clear he’s only started watching Haye at heavyweight, where Haye hasn’t been forced to show his best.

Was that a counter-punch? Answer without all the bull**** you seem to be producing.

I know what counter-punching is, Mayweather is my favourite active boxer...but once again, when did I say Haye was a great counter-puncher?

You clearly havn't seen much of him which you claim, which means there is no point even debating this particular subject with you.

    :good

I havn't had a good debate on this site for a while, well if you can call it a debate. I don't understand how someone can have certain opinions of a boxer, and stand-by said opinions when they havn't even seen much of them at all. I mean, it seems like he hasn't even seen the Enzo bout, yet insists Haye can't counter-punch. :huh

1 punch at a time is not counter-punching? So making an opponent miss and then hitting them with, for example, a straight right isn't a counter-punch? I've never heard that before.

    Don't you consider Mayweather's pull-counter a counter-punch then?

Who cares. Haye is Hype. He just can't fight at all. He couldn't get through an L.A. City Pro/AM tourney. I gurantee he'll get his ass whooped.

    WOW:lol:
if haye had to fight his mand...thats on Haye. Wlad wants to stay busy... Haye is fine fighting every 9-10 months.. wlad is not. Haye could have made this work by having vitali step in or cash if wlad couldnt make it... he walked away just like the other 3 times, just like wlad was concerned he would which is why he took the chisora fight....

Haye knew wlad had a cut off date of Jan 5th, yet Haye kept dragging the signing of the contract.... everything was VERBAL AGREEMENT, so wlad went for a sure thing.... as we all know... verbal agreements mean NOTHING to Davey Boy

Yeah it is a counter but that's not the way it's taught in boxing. Everytime Haye throws that shot he leaves himself in the ready to be hit position as opposed to ready to throw position. Also if you box you know that every shot has to be followed up with either a cross or combination that's going to allow you to have your hands in the ready position. Also this can let you avoid taking shots or stumbling all over the ring like Haye because he made a guy miss. Dude you gotta be a Brit from this dude's hometown or something. After all the years in the gym I just don't believe this conversation.

No I still haven't started watching haye. Here's the Haye fights that I've seen Haye vs McCormick, Haye vs Johanson and Haye vs Valuev. These are the 3 fights that come to mind when you say Gaye Haye! Yeah I saw some others, Harrison, Barret, Macarinelli, Ruiz but it's embarassing to even admit I've seen that much of him. so all of a sudden he doesn't counter as a HW? so he's lost fundamental skill since becoming a HW? Or was his fundamental boxing skill sets so incredibly weak that when he started fighting bigger guys(as inept as they were) Gaye was exposed? so what exactly are you saying!
